For the health and safety of our patrons and staff, the Fairview Heights Library will be Lobby Pickup Only starting Wednesday January 12th until further notice.
How lobby pickup works:
- Request Items – You can reserve items through the online catalog, the SHARE Mobile Library app, or by calling us at 618-489-2070.
- Wait for Notification – You’ll get an automated email, text message, or phone call from the system when your items are at the library and ready to be checked out. Items are held for 7 days.
- Call to Arrange Pickup – Once you get a notification that your items are being held at the library, you can arrange a lobby pickup by calling at least 15 minutes before you’d like to come get them. We will need your library card number to look up your account, then we will check out your items and place them in our lobby.
- Pickup – Head to the library. Your items will be in a bag with sticker with your initials on them, just come into the lobby and grab your items when you get here.
We will continue to offer mobile printing through our lobby pickup service. Browsing and public computers will be unavailable.
Our hours will remain the same with lobby pickup available:
Monday – Thursday: 10am – 6pm
Friday: 10am – 5pm
Saturday: 10am – 2pm
