Free downloadable audiobooks and ebooks are now available. We are pleased to announce our Library2Go - a service that allows you to check out and download audiobooks anytime, anywhere. You can burn to a CD, listen on your PC or transfer to an iPod or MP3 device. Simply install the free software from our Library2Go website then browse our collection of bestselling and classic fiction and non-fiction. Check out titles using your Fairview Heights library card number and pin. At the end of the lending period (you choose 1 or 2 weeks) the titles automatically expire. There are no late fees.

Online Book Clubs


From DearReader. Start reading books in your email. Each day you will get a 5-minute portion. Choose from fiction, non-fiction, mystery, audio, horror, good news, teen, romance, business and pre-publication. You can also link to our new books newsletters to read reviews, descriptions and author commentaries.





Friends of the Library


The Friends meet four times a year on the fourth Friday of January, April, July and October in the Conference Room. The next scheduled meeting is
July 23, 2010
at 1 pm. in the Conference Room.
Our Annual Book Sale is scheduled for August 12 - 14, 2010


FRIENDS EVENING BOOK CLUB

Here is our schedule (all Tuesdays) for 2010:

We meet in the lower level of the library from 7-8:30 pm.

Open to all book loving adults. You don't have to be a member of the Friends.
Books are available through interlibrary loan.
